About Our Agency
Welcome to Nanny on the Way, a babysitting agency founded in 2022, where the word “love” defines everything we do. Created from the heart by Miss Allison as your little ones lovingly call her our journey began with one simple goal: to be those extra helping hands for families exploring Costa Rica.
Nanny on the Way connects traveling families with trusted, professional local babysitters who provide safe, engaging childcare directly at your place of stay.
Based in La Fortuna, we support families visiting Costa Rica by offering reliable childcare that allows parents to relax, explore and fully enjoy their travel experience. Our nannies are carefully selected and share our standards of safety, professionalism and genuine care for children.
We proudly work with families from all over the world, welcoming different cultures, traditions and needs including children with diverse abilities.

Allison was absolutely amazing with our 4 year old. We have three teenagers and wanted an opportunity to go on big kid adventures while in Costa Rica. The first day she played with our son for 10 hours. They had a blast. She was so kind, attentive and fun with our 4 year old that he asked if she could come back and play the next day. We ended up having her babysit for four days in a row. She took him to the animal sanctuary, horseback riding and swimming. She was reliable and flexible to stay longer when request. If we come back to Costa Rica, we will definitely be using her babysitting services again.
